A Nice Day...

I had a really nice day today. My friend Laurel picked me up for lunch and we went to the Olive Garden and then to Big Lots for a little shopping. I bought 4 huge candy canes for pictues. She suggested going to The Harbor and having our Christmas pictures taken in front of the big water fountain so we just may do that! I just hope it's not crowded. We plan to go one day this week after school. Wish me luck that they turn out! hehe!

Nicholas & My Birthday

Nicholas and I and everyone else said our happy birthdays to each other and got ready for school.

I went and had coffee with a couple of mommies and one of them bought my coffee. Thanks Amy!

Dh took off work for my birthday and took me out to lunch at Chick-fi-la. He also made me an angel food cake with cream cheese frosting and strawberries!

We went to my moms to pick up a couple of craft tables for a craft fair I'm having with the Rockin' Rockwall Moms group.

I painted a few more picture frames and have a some more clipboards I need to make.

We ordered pizza for Nicholas' birthday dinner.

The End!

Halloween 2008

We went to our friends David and Joedi's house in Waterview this year for a pre-tricker treating celebration and snacks. The kids had fun playing volleyball and jumping on the the trampoline and just running around. We headed out for trick or treating around 7:30 and walked around the block and it was a big block and got back to their house around 8:30. We stayed and visited for a few minutes and then headed back to our house. When we got back to our house the kids dumped their candy on the table and then I put it in a big container. They can have one piece a day until it's gone. LOL! It doesn't seem like they got as much as last year but that's just fine with me.

Saturday we walked with the "Light The Night" fundraiser in association with the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money for my nephew Philip. It so much fun to come together to support him and his family through this. We walked 2 miles with our illuminated red balloons and red t-shirts. It was so great. They had face painting, hoola hoops, a big playground, free hotdogs, popcorn, soft drinks and water and all kids of festivities!

Today my friend Karen came over after church. We went to the grocery store and then we watched Made of Honor together and ate lunch and let the kids play. It was fun!

Later I had to take Madison to a family class at 4:00 at church. She is going to recieve her first communion this May. We went to the different stations of the church and the kids asked questions about the the different parts of the church and what everything means and then we came home. Daddy had chicken fajitas waiting for us. OH Boy! Yum!

I've also been getting ready for Nicholas' 6th birthday party. It's going to be on Sunday, November 9th at 4:30. Hayley has 2 games and couldn't do it any earlier. He wants to go with the Power Rangers theme this year. I think I'm going to buy a cake from Walmart instead of making one. That's right, I'm lazy!
