Magic Time Machine

We had a Mom's Night Out with kids Friday night and I took Madison with me. This was with my DFW Area Mom's group and it was so much fun! I had never been before and always wanted to go. I'm so glad I finally had a chance. Our waitress was tinkerbell. She threw napkins at us and then took our order. It was funny! Whenever a character would come by the kids would say "could I have your autograph?" hehe! Too cute! I didn't take any pictures so I just saved a copy from everyone else. I did alter them just to be different. haha!

Update On Philip

We would like to thank you for all your prayers, love and support these past days. While hearing that Philip has leukemia was devastating, we know God’s hand was present with us. If Philip had been diagnosed just a day or two later we would not have had to postpone the birth of Andrew and therefore would not have been able to gather and store Andrew’s cord blood for possible later use. Also, just the fact that all this happened over Easter weekend…the time in our faith when we reflect on the wonderful gift of salvation Jesus gave to us by His dying and rising again…is just another “God thing” that sustains us.

John and I have strong belief that Philip will be healed by God’s hand. That doesn’t mean we won’t go through times of doubt – we’ve already experienced some of that – so please keep praying for our son and all our family as we adjust to our “new normal” and focus on the complete healing of Philip.

Philip has his first clinic appointment on Monday. He will have a bone marrow biopsy, spinal tap and a round of chemotherapy…please pray for tomorrow to go smoothly.

We do not mind emails, calls and visitors. However, we ask that you be healthy and not bring children around at this time.

Love,

John and Suzanne Endres

We are starting a Caring Bridge Website to keep all of you update to date on Philip’s progress. The link is http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/philipendres

Movie...Birthdays & Easter Celebration

Friday I took Madison, Nicholas & Jake to see "Horton Hears A Who" with my friend Karen and her family. It was really cute. I chuckled a few times. The kids sat still the whole time so that says a lot! I told Hayley I would take her just me and her another time because she had part 1 of a soccer tournament in Arlington.

Howard's (dh's) birthday was on Easter this year. My nephew's Dustin and James also share the same birthday. On Saturday I baked Howard a homemade triple layer german chocolate cake and icing from scratch. I'm so proud of myself! It turned out so moist and yummy! When he and Hayley got home from day 2 her soccer tournament we sang Happy Birthday to daddy and he blow out his one pink candle. hehe! That's all we had, I swear.

The Easter Bunny came last night and left the girls a jump rope, some paper with flowers on it and a flower pen and the boys got a frisbee and a gun that shoots disks. They all got jellybeans, a chocolate bunny, and hershey kisses. I was lazy this year and waited until the last minute. the isles were crowded and I didn't want to fight my way though so, I just went over to the cheap toys at Target. LOL!

Sunday we went to grandma and grandpa's to hunt eggs and have dinner. Everyone had a great time! We celebrated my nephew James' birthday too and they accidentally got the trick candles and it got a little smokey. hehe! My nephew Dustin was having his brithday party at Nickelrama at the same time as dh's mom and dad. Hopefully next year the timing will work out a little better. I hated to miss it. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Oh! and grandma had one lonely tulip so I thought I'd get a shot of that. LOL!

Prayers Please.....

If you could please say a little prayer for my nephew Philip. He is 3 years old and he went into Medical City on Thursday for Flu like symptoms. Dh's mom called last night and said he was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. Also, his white blood cell count was abnormal. Today, she called at 5:30 and said that he has Luekemia. They are going to start a port with his first round of chemo tomorrow.

John & Suzanne....I am going to ask to have little Philip added to our prayer list at church. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

It's A Jungle In There!

My mom asked if we would like to join her at McDonalds today. So me and the kids met her at 11:00 for lunch. We went to the one in Richardson off of Beltline Rd. It looked like a jungle in there! Prett cool! My neice and nephew's came and three of their friends. It was raining cats and dogs and there was only room for me and my mom to sit inside. It was very crowded so we decided to let the kids play and then we would get the food and go home and eat. We went over to my mom's and the kids ate, played and my mom and I watched soap operas. We got home around 3:30 and now I'm just catching up on my mommy boards and thought I would post some pics. of our day. The first one is just one I took of the girls. I thought it was sweet. hehe! Madison took the one of my mom and me. Nice shot of the double chin girlfriend. haha!

Our Funtastical Weekend

The boys and I had a luncheon playdate on Friday with the Eastside mom's group and there were all kinds of goodies to eat. Jake would eat the apples and leave the peel. hehe! The boys had lots of fun playing with their friends and I met a new mommy and she is really nice. I just love going to playdates. Sometimes I don't know what to say but, I'm a good listener and I jump in when the time is right.

Later that night we went over to my friend Laura's house and we celebrated St. Patrick's day with green beer, which I didn't have any because I can't stand the taste of beer. I have to be really drunk off of something else and feeling pretty numb before I'd drink beer. haha! There was also pizza and cookies and cake and lots of beautiful singing from the children on the microphone. It was just lovely. LOL...No, they were good. Really! Laura...You went all out girl! We had a blast!

Today is the Easter egg hunt/picnic for my Dallas Area Mom's group and I am so sad I'm going to miss it! Hayley has a soccer game and dh's sister invited us to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe and I just know the kids would be too tired to go if we went to the picnic. I already got the stuff for my pasta salad and the eggs for the hunt. Wah! I can't wait to see all of the great pictures though.

This coming Friday, the 21st, my sister-in-law Suzanne is scheduled for a c-section with her 7th baby. The baby is breech and they had to do an emergency c-section with her last one. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to see this precious little one.

Tea Party Playdate

We had so much fun yesterday! We went to a "tea party playdate" at my friend Laura's house and there were all kinds of goodies. For the kids there were sandwiches that they got to make themselves and use a cookie cutter of their choice to make the different shapes. Jake had to have the dinosaur one. hehe! Instead of tea they had juice boxes and lemonade and the kids and mommies had a blast. The kids played and the mommies had a nice time chatting. I love playdates! It's way better than sitting at home doing nothing or God forbid...HOUSEWORK! LOL!
