Movie & Late Lunch

My friend Laurel & I took the kids to go see "Imagine That" with Eddie Murphy. It was cute! What I got to see of it anyway. My kids have the bladder of a gnat and her kids have the bladder of a camel! I had to get up 4 times to take them to the bathroom. They did GO every time I took them but, I think part of it was because they were bored. I will never again pay full price for a movie. Only dollar movies for us from now on baby!

After the movie we went to Taco Casa and ate cheaply on some tacos which were pretty tasty! The kids drinks were free! That's a plus!

I had a great time with my friend today, but it's a whippin' trying to take 6 kids anywhere without them acting up and driving us crazy.

I'll be back...I have to check and see if I have any hairs left on my head from pulling them out. LOL!

Vacation Bible School

It's Vacation Bible School this week for the kids. Monday was their first night and they had lots of fun and they had cupcakes for snack. Dh & I went looking around at Best Buy and ended up getting a new phone. I can't believe how much different the phones look now. They look like a longer version of a cell phone! It has been a while but, we really needed one. Ours sounded like we were talking through a tunnel and with static. We really need a new refrigerator too so, we were looking at those. I really liked the 26 cubic in. Frigidaire with the ice maker and water on the door in white. Everything is white in our kitchen. Soo...Maybe for Christmas? We shall see! Everything freezes in ours except the ice cream. Very weird.

Tonight we are going to play while the kids are away and go to Olive Garden for dinner. Can't wait!!

Father's Day

We went to Amazing Jakes on Saturday to celebrate Father's Day. It was so much fun! We had never been before. It's a cool place to take the family. We went on the go carts, bumper cars, miniature golf, lazer tag, all day and ate at the buffet. The food was good!

On Sunday we went to Howard's mom & dads to have grilled hamburgers and hang out. His sister Karla brought their new puppy over for a visit. She is so cute!! Her name is Wendy and she is part beagle part dachshund. She looks more like a dachshund with the coloring. The kids had lots of fun playing with her.

Easter 2009

The Easter Bunny came and left each of the kids a chocolate bunny, jelly beans and a swimsuit. We went to the 8:00 Mass Sunday morning and went home and I made my side dishes to take over to grandma & grandpa's house. We went over there around 3:00 and had an egg hunt and then we ate an early dinner. We just sat around and talked and watched Amazing Race and then we came home and took baths and got everything ready for school the next day and went to bed. It was a Hip Hoppin' Great Easter!

Open Gym

I took Jake, my youngest to Open Gym today at RISE (Rockwall Indoor Sports Expo). He had lots of fun jumping on the trampolines, jumping in the foam pit, walking on the balance beam, etc...We are going to start going on Fridays until Summer gets here. It's only for preschoolers. It's from 10:00 until 11:00 and cost $5.00. After we left there we went to eat at Joe Willy's. I love that place! It's pretty cheap and oh so yummy! They let you order off the kids menu which helped me out with the moolah. We had fun and Jake fell asleep when we got home. Whoop! Whoop!

Blow Daddy Blow!

I made my "Honey" a homemade German Chocolate Cake with homemade Coconut & Pecan Frosting from his mom's recipe. The cake turned out SOOOO moist! The frosting is the best though. mmm! I had to use every candle I could find so there are pink and purple ones, etc... and some trick ones that re-light after you blow. LOL! Daddy enjoyed his birthday. The kids made him some homemade cards that were cute and I bought him some long Dockers shorts. It was a nice day.

Sea Of Sickness

HELP! I'm surrounded by sickness and I need to escape!

Nicholas has some kind of virus. He's been throwing up since yesterday and again today. He can't keep anything down.

At first I thought it might be low blood sugar because he said his legs felt wiggly but, NOPE!

I'm keeping Jake at home today too because I would have to drag Nicholas up the stairs when I went to pick him up and then I would be exposing everyone. I hate for him to miss though.

I'm going crazy not being able to go anywhere and I'm a huge germaphobe. I wash my hands a million times and spray Lysol on everything he touches. EW!

I love him and I'm sorry he doesn't feel well but, EW!
