A hay wreath with material tied around. I ran out of the darker material and had to use some leftover material I had sitting around. Kinda funky. I like it!

Mobile Dairy Classroom (Rowlett Public Library)

I told the kids that we were going to go to the library to learn about cows; how to milk one, etc... and get an ice cream sandwich and they were excited & me too! We went and it was outside of course and hot as all get out. Us girls got in the shade and the boys wanted to be up close & personal with the cow in the blazing HOT sun. Jake came to me and said he didn't feel well and all of a sudden his eyes rolled back and he went all limp in the knees. Very scary. He didn't go all the way out into a complete faint but, that was enough to scare me so, I took him into the cool library and sat with him until he came around. Pretty scary. He was okay once he cooled off. Before all that we were having fun and learning all kinds of informative stuff. When it was over they handed the ice cream sandwiches.

Robbers Cave State Park (Oklahoma)

Back From Vacation

We had a great time on our vacation. Got back yesterday. We went to Robbers Cave State Park in Oklahoma. Lots to do. Swimming pool, snow cones, miniature golf, paddle boats, Hiking up to Robbers Cave, Cable In The Cabins (Heaven) Hehe! We played Farkle one night. We ate out the first night (Mexican), the second night we grilled hamburgers, the third night we grilled hot dogs and on the way home we had McDonalds for lunch. It was a 3 hr. car trip. More like 4 with all the bathroom breaks. LOL! That's just part of it! I will post pics. soon. It has been a busy day.

Swim Lessons

Today was the first day of swim lessons. They all did great! Jake didn't want to get in at first but, I plopped him down on the step and made a mad dash to hide out of sight and he was fine after that! We missed lessons last year. I thought about it too late and everyone was already full. We are doing lessons at The Wetzone in Rowlett.
