Thanksgiving 2012

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Howard's side of the family. Food, Football, Fun & More Food! These turkeys were stuffed! :) The kids had fun playing with their cousins and us girls mapped out our plan for Black Friday shopping! I got up at 4:00 & went shopping with Howard's mom & sister & brother. We went to Macy's, JC Penney & A few other little stores. We ate lunch at Collin Creek Mall & then headed back home. I stopped at Kohl's on the way home. I walked in and walked right back out. The line was clear around the store. Crazy! Can't wait for next year's family adventure!

Halloween 2012

Madison Was Sick With Asthma & Didn't Feel Like Dressing Up, But I Made Her Anyway & She Was NOT Happy! I Think It's A Cute Picture Though. :) Hehe!

Christmas "2011"

Merry Christmas To Everyone! Our Family Had A Wonderful Christmas & I Hope Yours Did Too. :) It Started Off With Wrapping Presents. I Love To Wrap. Yep. I'm A Wrapper! & Lots & Lots Of Baking... From Peanut Butter Fudge, To Christmas Cookies For Santa, To Homemade Cinnamon Rolls To Have On Christmas Morning. Oh, How I Love To Bake. I Just Love Everything About This Time Of Year. From Hot Chocolate With The Tiny Tiny Marshmallows To Watching Our Favorite Christmas Movies With The Kids, Etc... We Went To The Christmas Eve Mass At 4:00 & A Friend Of Mine Dropped By With Her Boys & She Brought Us Some Beautifully Decorated Cake Balls & The Boys Sang Us A Christmas Song. It Was So Cute. This Year We Hosted Christmas Eve For My Family. We Made A 20 Pound Spiral Sliced Brown Sugar Glazed Ham & I Made My Famous Potato Salad. I Would Give You The Recipe, But I Don't Really Measure. I Can Tell You What's In It Though. Potatoes (Of Course), Miracle Whip, Thousand Island Dressing, A Squirt Of Mustard, Salt, Pepper, Bacon (Cooked & Crumbled), Diced Up Hamburger Dill Pickles, 2 Eggs (Diced) & That's It! So Yummy! Everyone Else Brought Sides To Share That Were Equally Delicious! My Brother's Birthday Is On Christmas Eve, So We Celebrated With His Favorite Cake For Dessert (German Chocolate). :) Time To Open Presents! Everyone Was Happy With What They Got & We Visited For A While. After Everyone Left, We Opened Presents To Us, From Each Other. The Kids Put On Their P.J's & Went To Bed & Were Very Excited About Santa's Arrival. Fast Forward To Christmas Morning. Santa Came!! The Kids Woke Us Up At 6:00 & The Picture Taking Began. They Were SO Happy. Breakfast Time! :) Time For Those Delicious Homemade Cinnamon Rolls. YUM! We Watched The Kids Play With Their Toys And Then It Was Time To Make Deviled Eggs To Take Over To Howard's Side Of The Family For Christmas Lunch. :) His Mom Made Turkey, Ham, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Rolls, Fruit Salad. SO Much Delicious Food. After Lunch Some Of Us Took Naps. I Think I Might Have Dozed, But Not A Full Blown Nap. Hehe! When My Brother & Sister In-Law & Kids Arrived, We Opened Presents & Again... Everyone Was SO Happy With What They Received. After Presents, We Ate Leftovers & Played A Game "Minute To Win It" & Talked For A Little Bit & Came Home. Can't Wait To Do It All Again Next Year!
