Father's Day

We had a great weekend. Saturday night we had a cookout with my friend Karen & her family. We had lasagna, garlic bread, salad, watermelon & brownies. Yum! We sat out on the front porch and rocked and talked the night away while the kids played. When it was time to go home the kids asked if their kids could spend the night so, they came home with us for a slumber party. We got to bed around midnight. Zzz... On Sunday we got up and ate breakfast & the kids said Happy Father's Day to Daddy and gave him his gift. A pair of sunglasses, a hat & a t-shirt that said #1 Dad on it. We went to church, came home and ate lunch. Daddy had to take Hayley to soccer practice at 2:00 and when they got home we took Daddy's Daddy (Grandpa) out to eat at Red Robin and after we were done we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa's for ice cream & conversation with the family. My sister in law & her family was also there to celebrate. We had a fun Father's Day! Hope you all did too!
