Hayley and Madison got their report cards on Tuesday and they both had A's, B's, E's and S's. Hayley has the Taks test coming up and I'm affraid she might not pass and have to go to Summer school which is really stressing me out. We have her in every tutoring class before and after school that the school has to offer. I just don't think it's going to be enough though. We have been working more on her reading. She doesn't retain much of what she reads. She is just like me in that aspect. We also need to work with her on how she reads. She needs to read with more feeling with the puctuation marks. On the other hand, Madison has been going to tutoring and her teacher says she really doesn't need it because she is ahead of the other kids in her tutoring class. so, that's good.
I just can't believe it comes down to one test to pass or fail a grade when all year on the report card she's been doing great. What the hey!?

Movie Review For ~27 Dresses~
I LOVED IT!! YOU HAVE TO GO SEE IT!
Jane has always been good at taking care of others, but not so much in looking after herself. Her entire life has been about making people happy – and she has a closet full of 27 bridesmaid dresses to prove it. One memorable evening, Jane manages to shuttle between wedding receptions in Manhattan and Brooklyn, a feat witnessed by Kevin (James Marsden), a newspaper reporter who realizes that a story about this wedding junkie is his ticket off the newspaper’s bridal beat.
Jane finds Kevin’s cynicism counter to everything she holds dear – namely weddings, and the two lock horns. Further complicating Jane’s once perfectly-ordered life is the arrival of younger sister Tess (Malin Akerman). Tess immediately captures the heart of Jane’s boss, George (Edward Burns). Tess enlists her always-accommodating sister to plan yet another wedding – Tess and George’s – but Jane’s feelings for him lead to shocking revelations…and maybe the beginning of a new life.

My Best Friend's Birthday
My friend Karen took off work today because her daughter Juila has strep throat and it just happens to be her birthday too. So, I decided to go over and spend the afternoon with her. That's how much she means to me. I dropped the boys off a MDO and went to Target and got a big cookie that said Happy Birthday and a card and gift. I plan to to her out for lunch and possibly a movie. We just hung out and watched soap operas and chatted and she worked a little from home and then it was time to go and get the boys. It was a nice day.

Sorry!
Walmart had their games on sale so I bought the kids the game "Sorry" and boy am I ever sorry I bought the game "Sorry". I also know why they have the ages on the box. They cry and get very upset when someone knocks them off and they have to go back "home". haha! I have never seen such carrying on. So, I don't think we'll be playing that one for a while.
Yesterday, dh took Nicholas to help his dad out with his cable for the t.v. The girls were watching "Hairspray" which I love by the way, and Jake is playing with his toys so, I think this is a good time to go take a bath and soak. Wrong! Jake gets it in his head that daddy's home and opens the door. Well, the dog runs out and I have to hop out of the tub and try and get dried off and get to the door. By the time I do the dog comes back. Thank goodness. I didn't want to have to run down the street in my housecoat and hair up in a towel. hehe! Jake gets a little whoopin' and a big talking to about opening the door. I don't think he'll be doing that for a while. Let's just hope.
That's about it for my "Sorry" day. I hope today is a better one.

My Baby's Sick
Hayley woke up Wednesday morning saying that her throat hurt. I said "You'll be alright, it's just drainage." So she went to school and when she gets home she says it really hurts and she's crying. I called the doctor Thursday morning and made an appointment. The doctor says she has Strep Throat and her throat looks pretty inflamed. He gave her a perscription for Amoxacillian and a doctor's note that says she can't go back to school until Friday. I took this pic. of her. She had her thumb in her mouth until she saw the camera. She still sucks her thumb when she's tired.

The Girls' New Bedding
The kids got Visa gift cards from their Nanny for Christmas so, I went to Target today and bought them each a Hannah Montana comforter and sheet set. They were on sale. I think it goes better in Madison's room because it has more purple in it and Hayley's room is pink but, they love it. I used the boys gift cards to help pay for it but, they don't even know. It's all good. I'll get them something later on to make up for it. hehe! Here are a few pics....

Playdate/Bunco/Soccer/Birthday Party
Yesterday I took all the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for a playdate with the Eastside Moms Group. It was really nice to get together and let the kids play before heading back to school. It ended up costing us $30 and the prize they ended up getting was 2 things of fun dip candy each. haha! Whoopty Doo! Oh well, they had fun and that's all that counts, right? After the playdate we came home and the kids watched some t.v. and I was on the computer for the rest of the day. Duh! hehe! Later that night a friend of mine (Laura) picked me up and took us to Bunco. It was loads of fun but, I didn't end up getting home until 11:30 and couldn't go to sleep until around midnight because the hubby didn't have the ceiling fan on that I'm use to sleeping with so, I just kept staring at it wondering if he would wake up if I tried to turn it on. I can never remember which cord to pull to make the fan and light come on. haha! I never did get up though. I finally just drifted off. I am definately not a night owl. Man, I sure am tired! I had to get up at 7:00 so we could go to Madison and Hayley's last indoor soccer games. They lost. No big shocker there! We are going to our nephew Christopher's birthday party tonight with just the family. It will be fun. The kids love to get together with all of their cousins and play. That's all for now!
